Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 baby carrots
  • 1 tsp. water
  • 1 orange peeled
  • 1/3 c. Greek yogurt
  • 3 Tbsp. vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. honey
  • 6 to 8 ice cubes

Instructions

  • Place baby carrots in microwave-safe bowl, add the 1 tsp. water, cover loosely and cook on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until soft.
  • Place cooked carrots, orange, yogurt, protein powder, banana, ginger, and turmeric in blender. Process on high until smooth and creamy, about 2 to 3 minutes, scraping the sides of the blender as needed. Add honey for sweetness if desired.
  • Add ice cubes and blend for 30 to 60 seconds until evenly incorporated.
  • Serve immediately.
