Thanksgiving is over and it’s time to get back into the regular routine. With basketball games for all three kids added to the mix it’s a little more challenging. It takes menu planning to a different level since most of the games happen over the supper hour. For this week it means eating on the road with sandwiches, wraps, or other nutritious finger foods. Here’s what I came up with:
Monday – Build-a-Salad Dinner with grilled chicken breast, whole grain toast
Tuesday – Turkey sandwiches on whole grain bread or wraps, oranges, cucumber slices
Wednesday – Crockpot Chili, cornbread, green salad
Friday – Veggie wraps, apple slices, carrot sticks
Saturday – Eat out
Sunday – Leftover smorgasbord
