I know, and believe, it’s good to enjoy a dessert occasionally or take a day off from running – or whatever exercise you do. But when you feel tempted to give up on your healthy habits, have one too many brownies, or sleep in for the fifth day in a row instead of exercising isn’t it nice to know you’re not alone? There’s comfort in numbers, and everyone gets tempted now and then. So it’s encouraging to know that God will be there to show us how to get through it and keep on keeping on with a healthy lifestyle.
