Are you looking for an easy, healthy snack? I’ve got you covered with this Chocolate Raspberry Smoothie. More specifically, it’s a dark chocolate raspberry smoothie. Decadent and delicious, you can taste the raspberries and chocolate in every bite. It’s perfect for an afternoon snack or even breakfast or brunch. I mean, who doesn’t love chocolate any time of the day?
Smoothies are super easy to make, and this one is no different, even if you’re not sure how to make a smoothie! All you need is a few ingredients and a good blender. And while any blender will work, the more powerful it is, the easier your work will be. I have a Ninja blender that I love and use often. Just put all the ingredients into the blender and process till smooth, scraping the sides as needed.
What makes this smoothie a healthy choice?
For starters, dark chocolate and raspberries. As I’ve written before, dark chocolate and raspberries provide several heart healthy nutrients. Cocoa powder provides flavonoids and antioxidants, both of which can have a positive affect on heart health. Raspberries also contain flavonoids and antioxidants and are a great source of fiber and vitamin C. All of these nutrients benefit our heart health. And including them in a super easy, delicious smoothie is a wonderful way to up your intake of these nutrients.
Greek yogurt and milk are both good sources of calcium and vitamin D, which are important for building and maintaining healthy bones. In addition, the protein provided by the yogurt and milk, and the fiber from the raspberries, help keep you satisfied.
Can I use plant-based milk and yogurt to make this smoothie?
Yes, you can! Just be sure to read the label to make sure your choice is fortified with calcium and vitamin D as amounts of those nutrients can vary quite a bit.
The best part of this smoothie? It’s delicious; plus it’s easy to make! Why not try one today?

This was really yummy! It came out for me more like a gelato rather than a smoothie but I don’t consider that a bad thing at all. I used a drinkable goat milk yogurt rather than the Greek yogurt. 5 stars!
Thanks, Summer! Glad you enjoyed it!
