With the new year upon us, and lots of new readers this past year, I chose the top five new posts of the year to highlight today. The list includes four delicious recipes and one post with my thoughts about clean eating. Take a look at these top posts and find something new to try. Then let me know in the comments below what types of recipes or information you’re looking for in 2018. I’d love to know what you, my readers, are interested in for the new year! I wish you all a healthy, happy, and blessed new year!
Southwest Tuna Stuffed Mini Peppers came in fifth for this year’s top posts. This healthy appetizer is so easy to make using Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise. It’s filled with a spicy southwest flavor. But if you’re not into spicy, just reduce the amount of southwest seasoning added.
Next up is my Master Muffin Mix with Whole Wheat and Oats. I love this recipe because it helps cut down on the prep time needed when I want to make a healthier homemade muffin for breakfast. Just prep a few jars at a time and pull one out when you have muffins on the menu. They make great gifts too! So easy!
Third this year is Lemon Pesto Sheet Pan Chicken with Asparagus and Tomatoes. This was my first sheet pan recipe on the site and I hope to add more this year. It sure cuts down on clean up time and is a cinch to prepare.
My one non-recipe post to make the top five this year is The Clean Eating Conundrum. In this article I review what it means to eat clean as well as the pros and cons to this current eating trend.
Baked Salmon with Lemon-Dill Sauce is my top new recipe of the year. To be fair, this is a remake from a recipe I posted years ago. But since it was so in need of new photos and wasn’t getting much attention, I revamped the whole thing and included it in these top posts. This is my family’s all-time favorite recipe for salmon. It’s simple to make too, and a nourishing heart healthy meal.
