Worry. If you’re not careful it can embed itself in your life and wreak havoc on your health. It becomes a constant companion that has a nasty habit of interrupting exercise routines, guiding us away from healthy food choices, or keeping us awake at night. Those are just a few of the consequences of constant worry. For a lot of people worry and stress cause us to overeat. How many of us have turned to long-time comfort foods when life hands us lemons? I think it happens more often than not. But God tells us not to worry about the things of this world. Worrying does us absolutely no good. Nothing. Nada. It can’t add a single moment to our lives. So let’s not worry; let’s give it all over to God. He can handle it way better than we can. And we can sleep in peace, keep exercising, and continue making healthy food choices. How do you handle worry when it shows up in your life?
