Sometimes I wonder what motivates people to eat healthier, lose weight, or start exercising. If you’re like me you’ve muddled through lots of reasons. You want to lose weight before that reunion, or you feel your age creeping up on you, or maybe you’re tired of being sick and tired all the time. It’s important to know why you want to make lifestyle changes. They can be challenging to hold on to if we don’t have a long-term purpose in mind. Think about why you’re eating healthier or exercising. It should be clear and motivating. For those following Jesus it’s a simple answer. We should be good stewards of the body God gave us. Doing so honors Him and keeps us healthy enough to do the work He has for us. What’s your purpose? What keeps you going strong?
